Merger
Easily merge several A2L files
It is a common practise to organize software by dividing it into several components. These components heach ave their own A2L file. The A2L files for these components can be generated by the tool which generates the C-code (for example Simulink, TargetLink or ASCET) hand-written or by Creator.
Regardless of how they are created the A2L files describing the components must be merged into a single A2L file before they can be used with a measurement and calibration tool such as ATI Vision, Vector CANape, ETAS INCA etc. Merger accomplishes this task easily. The flowchart below illustrates the process.
Features of Merger
- Command line interface makes it ideal to integrate in a software build environment.
- Merge groups and functions with identical names or abort merge with error message according to command line switch.
